More Low-Cost Work at Home Promotion Ideas
You may or may not have already read the “Low-Cost Work at Home Promotion Ideas” article. This is an addendum to that. It includes additional ideas for promoting your work at home operation. These promotional methods and tools generally cost next to nothing or actually cost nothing.
Low-cost Promotional Ideas
Use Social Bookmarking - Copy and paste a “Share Me” or “Add This” html or JavaScript code into your site or blog pages. Then, people will pass it on to Facebook, Blogger, Yahoo, or wherever else they network on a regular basis.
Put up a free classified ad-You can find many of legitimate high PR places to place your free classified ad. One place would be MySpace. You can also seek for other classified ad sites to place your free ad.
Use article directories-One of the most effective work at home promotional tools to date is home article directories. You write useful tips and ideas or educate a person in some way and this article is then uploaded to an article directory. There is usually an author, resources, or bio space for you to place at least one link to your business website, blog, or other online site.
Create Interaction-The best way to help get a person to stay at a website you have created for long periods of time is to create interaction. This could be via social networking, blogging, friend networking, forum posting, etc. Any way you can invite visitors to comment or participate on your website is to your advantage. You can create great friends and eventually this will lead to substantial profit.
Provide entertainment-If you own a website or blog you can post entertaining videos and stories to your pages. Maybe you can also supply free video games or provide free (legal) music that people can play as streaming audio. Perhaps downloadable ring tones are another great idea.
Offer free education-This could come in the form of video and audio tutorials and/or interactive lessons. It will lure people in, say if they are trying to learn some type of website programming language or just wanting to learn a fun craft. They will eventually purchase your paid lessons.
Run a contest-Perhaps a writing or artist contest would be appropriate. It depends upon the services you offer. It could even be a recipe or cooking contest, or something relevant to your work at home business.
These are only a few low-cost promotional ideas. Many more ideas are going to be shown to you at a later date, but this will get you started.
